Privacy Policy — Points of Interest

Who we are
Points of Interest is run by Matthew DiPietro. Questions about privacy: hello@points-of-interest.com
What we collect
- Account info: email and password when you sign up
- Your content: images and details you save in the app (your “points of interest”), plus the records that link to those images
- Feedback: if you send a message through the feedback form, we receive what you write and your contact details if you include them
- Basic technical data: what our hosting providers need to keep the site running (for example, that a request happened)
We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
So you can create an account, save and organize your content, send us feedback, and so we can keep the service working and secure.
Who helps us store it
We use trusted services to run the product:
- Supabase — accounts and your saved data
- Cloudflare (R2) — image files
- Vercel — hosting the website
- Resend — sending and receiving feedback/contact email
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content while your account is active. If you want your account and data deleted, email hello@points-of-interest.com and we’ll remove your account data and associated images. (Self-serve delete isn’t built yet — email is the honest path today.)
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we have about you
- correct something that’s wrong
- delete your account and data

Children
Points of Interest is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If how we handle data changes (for example, if we add analytics later), we’ll update this page and change the “Last updated” date.
